Worlds Longest Covered Bridge

Today we went golfing at the Woodstock Golf & Curling Club. The owner has two sports by membership. When it snows they have a large Curling Court which is iced in the winter. During the summer it stores all the members golf carts. We waited on one of two golf carts to play this lovely 9 hole course. It was hilly and certainly challenging. The countryside here is beautiful with rolling hills and farms, and rivers. The Longest Covered bridge was about 12 miles up the road here, and was worth a look.

Elwin is always ready for golf.

Hole number one Woodstock Golf course.

Beautiful fairways overlooking hills.

Teeing off again on hole 7.

Looks pretty long to me.

It is a one car bridge, so you have to wait for the signal to go across.

The sign says it all.

I could not walk it just take pictures.

Strong construction on cement pillars.

Very long walkway.
Sailing on the St. John River. Such a peaceful view at the end of a good day golfing.. Ahhh.
