Today was a long day along the North Cape Coastline of Prince Edward Island. The island is redundant with many farms of horses, cows, crops,...especially potatoes. Bought some New Potatoes from a local, $5 for 5 lb. Will let you know how they taste. All of the coast is beautiful, just like our campground. I felt like we went to the end of the earth at the North Cape. They have a windmill farm which will be pictured. Lots of windmills using the energy provided by the land. The roads are rough at times, the scenery is beautiful, but becomes the same after a while. We stopped at a house and chapel made of bottles. Interesting. The northern part of the island is more French due to the Acadia peoples or remnant French after the English took over. The churches are Catholic, since the French are predominantly Catholic; and very pretty. This part of the island is rustic, with homes and farms everywhere. Ended the day with much needed shopping. Everything here is 2-3 times the price of the USA. Love America! Our country has it's issues, but I definitely want to live there. Got my phone bill, which is $43 more due to international charges. Tomorrow is laundry day and rest. We leave for Nova Scotia on Sunday morning. The weather today was very nice in the 70-80's and pleasant. We ate breakfast/lunch at a Tim Horton fast food place common to Canada. Good, but the only thing available on the drive. (Much like a subway with higher prices).

The reflectiveness of the bottles make it quite pretty.

Any know where I can find some bottles? |
