New Annan, Prince Edward Island (PEI)

Drove around 80 miles across an 8 mile bridge to Crystal Beach Campground in New Annan, PEI. We are located right in Malpeque Bay off the Gulf of St Lawrence. We went to Summerside to view the Summerside Harbor Lighthouse and waterfront. Our campsite was waterfront with an awesome view. We had very little internet service there, so we chose to move in the afternoon to a good view, more room and internet service. (pictures of new site tomorrow) We are located next to a large potato field. This island is full of crops and so very green. There is a Walmart and Sobey's grocery store about 4 miles away. Nice spot for the next 5 days. Lots of wind across the water, tides change here pretty drastically, so we will watch. Flys here are large! So far it is wonderful. The pool is an above ground with a nice cooling temperature. The owner winters in Kissimee, Florida and tried to give us a great site. We feel at home here. Will explore more tomorrow.
