Historic Williamsburg, Virginia

Shops inside the old historic town of Williamsburg.
Our good friends Van and Lynn took us to Williamsburg today. We toured the town for an hour, then drove to Yorktown for lunch on the James River. The weather is humid, but cooler than normal, so walking was pleasant. We had a lot of fun visiting and seeing what our forefathers fought for. I am grateful to be an American. I appreciate what they did for our freedom as a new nation.

Elwin and me with Thomas Jefferson Statue.

Beautiful gardens behind the houses.

Episcopal Church attended by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson etc,..

Open market with students from William & Mary College next to Williamsburg.
